WeForest
EF is teaming up with WeForest to create a future that’s good for people and the planet. Over the next five years, we're working to plant over three million native trees and bring back 1,500 hectares of land in Tanzania’s Mahale Mountains. We're also helping to roll out an environmental education program for 15 local villages, to give 1,500 farmers the skills to go green, create jobs for women, and protect the local chimpanzees.

EF’s partnership with myclimate is all about tracking our emissions, and strategizing ways to reduce our carbon footprint for years to come. myclimate’s methods follow the international Greenhouse Gas Protocol, calculating every relevant emission. Bottom line: can’t fix what you don’t measure, and this is just another step we’re taking to make a difference.

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)
We’ve teamed up with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) to help them bring medical care to the people who need it most. As an education company, we understand that knowledge can be life-changing, and education is the key to sustainable solutions. That’s why our partnership supports training healthcare workers through the MSF Academy for Healthcare and helps fund fast, on-the-ground medical response through the MSF Emergency Fund.
EF Animal Welfare Program
As part of our EF Animal Welfare Program, we stopped offering activities that involve unnatural interactions with wild animals (such as riding, feeding, or swimming). Instead, we prioritize education to cultivate wildlife–savvy travelers all over the world. We provide EF staff and tour directors with specialized training on the importance of animal welfare, common misconceptions, and simple ways to have a positive impact. We also offer experiential learning opportunities to EF customers, like tours featuring service-learning projects at animal sanctuaries handpicked by non-profit partners.
